Okisan, Michael,
I'd like to suggest the creation of a wikimy-l mailing list on the
Wikimedia Foundation servers, as a place we could use to discuss the
font issues affecting the Myanmar Wikipedia, and the way we can work
towards a maximally open & free solution. I will also add Jimmy to
that mailing list.
Htoo Myint Naung will need to be added for the list to be useful. I would
like to state that Htoo and I were trying to make some headway on solutions
before Okisan started criticizing us, unfairly, on public forums.
I oppose the use of word headway, since we did our
wiki<http://www.myanmarwikipedia.org/>in two days. You can ask any
Myanmar, which web site is better to get a
straight answer. There is nothing as technology barrier that Micheal Everson
claim continuously.
Yes, I never like private messaging. This email list better. Thanks.
Does that make sense to you? I didn't find any existing list that would
serve this purpose,
I run myanmar(a)evertype.com for discussion of encoding matters, but that is a
bit different.
and I think it'll make the conversation easier to follow for people who are
not on <my.wikipedia.org>.
The conversation there is certainly not easy to follow.
