We a blog post up about the new Wikimedia Participation Grants program, and have announced it on Foundation-L. As we all know, that list doesn't reach nearly enough of our community members, so I would like to explicitly ask for you help in forwarding the link to the blog post (below) to your local chapter _and_ project lists, to make sure as many of our community members as possible are aware of it.

As we are entering the fundraiser, we won't be using centralnotice to publicize the program just yet, but we'll probably ask to run a notice for a while after the fundraiser.
