Wikimedia NYC is teaming up with our favorite instagram account, @ depthsofwikipedia https://www.instagram.com/depthsofwikipedia/, to offer an introductory workshop and edit-a-thon from Thursday, January 7th thru Sunday, January 10th! We'll kick things off with an online Wikipedia workshop on January 7th, where you'll learn about Wikipedia's policies and practices and the basics of editing. Attendees are then encouraged to make their first edits throughout the weekend; we'll have expert Wikipedians on hand to answer questions and provide guidance in our Discord channel.
