I am thrilled to invite you to join us at the WikiGap 2022 - Women, Health & Environment Wikipedia Edit-a-thon! Knowledge is power, and Wikipedia has the potential to shape our view of the world. But there is a great imbalance when it comes to representation on Wikipedia, like in society at large. There are four times as many articles about men as there are about women, just one of many statistics that speak to a larger gender gap.

We want to change this.

Join us and help to close Wikipedia's gender gap by editing and creating Wikipedia articles about Women, Health & Environment. This is a hybrid event with in-person sessions in New York and Washington, DC as well as a virtual session for those who wish to attend remotely. Please bring a laptop if planning to join us in-person.
