The project page for coordinating online and offline events for International Women's Day (March 8) and Women's History Month has been published on Meta at: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Women%27s_History_Month,_India-2014
I urge Indian language editors to add lists of articles to create and expand as a part of the edit-a-thon: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Women%27s_History_Month,_India-2014/To_do_li...
The theme of the edit-a-thon this year on the English Wikipedia is Women Parliamentarians. The articles listed for creation, expansion and improvement as a part of the Lilavati's Daughters edit-a-thon on women scientists could be taken up again during Women's History Month.

Dear all,
We are celebrating International Women's Day by organising edit a thons on the 8th & 9th of March, tomorrow and the day after. We are focusing on Women Parliamentarianshttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Meetup/International_Women%27s_Day,_India/2014#Suggested_articles_2in India this time around.
Join us by editing as many articles as possible during these the days. We want to cover all of them. Apart from creating articles, you could also help us by correcting or expanding existing ones. Adding names to the existing list of parliamentarians would go a long way too.
Find more details about the event herehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Meetup/International_Women%27s_Day,_India_(2014). Please add your name as a participant and feel free to start editing over a cup of coffee :-)
A second edit-a-thon on Indian women scientists is scheduled for the 15th and 16th of March,. Sign up for this event on the event page in advance herehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Meetup/International_Women%27s_Day,_India/2014#Women%20Scientists%20Edit-a-thon !
