Okay, all you admins, please update your status (Mikey my boy, that means

Abroad, we dont have Indic Wikipedians listed for:

* Australia
* Asia (other than India)
* Middle East
* North America
* South America
Unless you would like to stay off list, of course that's acceptable too.
May I also request Tinu / list admins to please forward it all the Indic
language & city Wikimedia lists. We need this resource to be as
comprehensible as possible.

Dear all,
We are excited to share that Tanveer Hasan A.K. has joined CIS-A2K as the
Programme Officer (Institutional Partnerships). We thank all the
Wikimedians from various Indian language communities and Wikimedia India
Chapter EC for taking part in the hiring process. [1]
Tanveer, has been working in the Higher Education sector for the past 3
years and is interested in analyzing the policy framework and its impacts
with particular emphasis on linguistic policies. He is committed to the
cause of spreading and cultivating the Free and Open Knowledge movement in
Indian Languages. He is also interested in the questions of language,
competence and social justice and would like to understand them through his
present engagement at CIS-A2K.
Please join us in congratulating him and wishing him success in his new
role.
