I'm the UMD prof whose class is organizing the 10/16 edit-a-thon. I've met some of you at Wikimedia DC events and Wikimanias over the years. It would be great to see/meet anyone who can make it out to College Park on a weekday afternoon. Many thanks!

I've just been told about this edit-a-thon event at UMD on Tuesday, October 16 from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM. It appears to be organized by faculty personnel with no involvement from Wikimedia DC; however, I think it would be worthwhile for some of us to attend to get the word out about our organization.
