Hi all, I just wanted to say that I think I might be able to find some space at the Library of Congress for the 01/02 meeting if you are looking for any. Katie saw the space (at a Django Meetup) that's typically available in the Madison Building, which is close to the Capitol South Metro Station. The room fits up to about 40 people, and there's a projector and public wi-fi. The only thing I would need to figure out is if it is available on the weekend. Let me know what you think.

Ed,
I think that would be wonderful if we could meet there (then go to optional after-meetup dinner together).
Though, wonder if the meetup being on a Sunday, it might not be feasible or be too much trouble this time?
Cheers, Katie

Ok, I'll look into it. Were you thinking of a particular time period? Something like 3-5? Longer/shorter would work too, assuming the building is open -- which I will check on.

My apologies for taking so long to get back on this. It turns out that the Library of Congress Madison Building (where the National Digital Library Learning Center facility is) is not open on Sunday. Here are the hours:
Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Saturday 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
If you would like to schedule the next meeting for any of those time slots just let me know.

That's what I thought. Thanks for checking into this anyway.
Do we want to just get together for dinner & socializing? Anyone else have a preference for a venue? Something other than Pizzeria Uno or Bertuccis?

I was thinking this was just a social meetup from the get-go. As far as venues go, I'm open to whatever.
