Hello everyone,

Now that people have returned from whatever exciting vacation destinations they traveled to for the holidays, I'd like to update everyone on some of the events we have planned for the next few months:

- On January 8, the Digital Humanities Winter Institute is hosting an edit-a-thon at the University of Maryland. The event will focus, unsurprisingly, on digital humanities.

- On January 12 and January 26, we're holding informal Wikipedia editing workshops at the Baltimore Free School.

- On February 15, the wonderful folks at the Smithsonian American Art Museum are hosting "The Civil War and American Art", an all-day event that will include new editor training, special tours, and an edit-a-thon.
