Greeting all,
I will be holding a Wiknic in Frederick this year on August the 2nd. The
meetup will take place at the same location it has on previous years.
I've set up a page for it here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Meetup/Frederick/Wiknic/2015
Will Wikimedia DC be doing a meetup in DC this year as has been done in
previous years?
Thank you,
Derric Atzrott

Good day,
I've just begun working with the National Museum of Civil War Medicine to
try to plan an edit-a-thon. We've not yet set a date, but I wanted to ask
for advice and see if I could request some materials.
First to cover the materials, does Wikimedia DC have extra Wikipedia
brochures? My personal stash is somewhat low and I know we will need a few
at least at the event. I have a couple, but not many.
Could I convince anyone here who has previous run an edit-a-thon to take a
quick look at the most recent email I sent the museum and double check that
I didn't miss anything important? I don't want to forward the email to the
list because it is quite long. I think I covered everything, and there is
plenty of time to correct it if I haven't, but I don't want to miss
something and be surprised.
Thank you,
Derric Atzrott
