Help us celebrate 15 years of Wikipedia on January 16th!

The Wikipedia Day 15th Birthday Bash is a celebration and mini-unconference to be held on Saturday January 16, 2016, hosted by the New England Wikimedians and supported by the Harvard University Language and Literacy Department and fellow Free Culture Alliance New England partners.

*Event format: *

Participation (and pizza and cake!) will be free, with room for ~30 participants. All are welcome, and we are especially interested in seeing newcomers to join the experienced Wikipedians/Wikimedians. In addition to the party, the event will be a modified unconference https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/unconference, with experience sharing sessions (organized on this wiki https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_15/Events/Boston), lighting talks https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/lightning_talk to the whole assembly, and of course open space https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_Space_Technology sessions. The Lightning Talks and Open Space will be determined during the event itself, so it will be good to bring your ideas with you.
