Hi all,
Over the past few months I've been doing some research on how Wikipedia uses the news media. Specifically, I've compiled a dataset of about 250 news websites and the number of times Wikipedia links to each of them. I've chatted with a few of you about this work and I wanted to share my preliminary findings with you all to get your thoughts and feedback

I'm still working on this, but I would greatly appreciate any thoughts that you might have on either the methodology or the results before I present it to the Wikipedia community at large.

Awesome. As I mentioned at the Wiknic, I'd be very interested in seeing this approach taken with other sourcing areas - for example finding out which reviewing magazines/websites are used most in the video game review infobox/template thing.
I also encourage you to have this published in the signpost.
