Hey all,
The next meetup is going to be on June 25th at 7pm at the vestibule of 5 Cambridge Centre - the same place we were meeting last month.
This month's discussion topic is "Balancing 'the encyclopedia' and living persons". Recent events on and off Wikipedia have caused fundamental conflicts between the desire to treat living people in a sensitive and humane way, and the desire to ensure that complete information on Wikipedia's subjects is available. How do we balance these things? Is the current balance right? What role do project dynamics and demographics play in impacting our ability to provide for our readers but respect our subjects?
Hope to see everyone there - and apologies for it being set up so late :)
Just a heads' up that I'm going to be a few minutes late due to travel woes, for which I'm terribly sorry :(

I'm here in Clover, wearing an absurdly bright iridescent cycling vest.
Wish I could join; have a great time :) Here in SF with a passel of librarians, gathering for ALA.
