I just wanted to say a big thank you to the Wikimedia DC Chapter, and especially to Lisa Marrs, Kristin Anderson, Jim Hayes, James Hare, and all of the other wonderful volunteers who helped to make our meetup and edit-a-thon last Friday such a wonderful success. Your generosity and collegiality went a long way in helping the new editors and GLAM professionals in attendance feel more comfortable and positive about working with Wikipedia and Wikimedians.
