Hi Phoebe,
I remotely participated in the Sunday meeting and also the Monday WALRUS meeting. The general sense of both discussions was strongly in support of the developing draft letter, which has now been released.
I agree with endorsing its call for a pause in the renaming process. This will allow time for members of the Wikimedia community to learn about and participate in a more open and transparent discussion of the future of this volunteer community.
Thank you, Phoebe, for your efforts in behalf of Wikimedia New England, and the worldwide Wikimedia projects in general.
