Hello everyone. This Saturday, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, I will be hosting a Wikipedia Loves Libraries event at the Cambridge Public Library main branch.

I would greatly appreciate it if we had a strong showing of Wikipedians, especially because we have ten librarians/archaists/nonprofit-workers showing up for the event, and it would be nice from an outreach standpoint to be able to demonstrate that we have a thriving local community. Additionally, this event was brought to us by Arend Sluis, the President of the Friends of the Cambridge Public Library, and by Alyssa Pacy, the archaist of the Cambridge Public Library, and I get the feeling that if this event goes well, there will be opportunities for future events.
But more importantly than all that, I hope you come because this is going to be a fun experience!
