Hey Pete,
I would definitely go for it, as we could do something that weekend. My one concern is doing it on that Monday, as our meetups tend to have around five people, although it could be more with an event. If you could do it on the weekend, you would likely be able to get those of us who aren't tied down by work life and could get out. It would be a good idea to combine it though, and I think Sven might be able to help with that.

Hi Boston folk,
I have a contact in Cambridge that's interested in hosting a meetup in March. I would probably be in town for it (for those that don't know me, I live in SF, but family is in Boston, so I always love an excuse to visit :) This would be similar to the event we did a couple weeks ago at EchoDitto: first an introduction to Wikipedia for newbies, followed by a less formal edit-a-thon, time for meeting/chatting, etc.
I see that you have a regular meetup scheduled Monday March 11 at 7pm. Would it make sense to combine these events -- for instance, have the Intro session at 6pm, and then have your regular session start after? Or do you already have a location you want to stick with?
I'm happy to steer them either toward having a separate event, or toward hosting you guys, depending what makes sense. One advantage to combining forces: free food :)
Feel free to contact me off list about this; it would be nice to get some feedback in the next 24 hours or so.
