Hey everyone,
I promise this will be the final e-mail before Saturday, but I have great news: Thanks to the generosity of Wikimedia D.C., we will be having lunch for everyone! If anyone has a car and is willing to pick up said lunch, would they reply all and let us know, as I would like to try to save some money on delivery costs if possible. Thanks a lot everyone, and see you Saturday!

It's at the Hyatt Harborside Hotel. Apparently stone, perhaps with a
metal panoramic plaque? I am still looking for a proper photo of the
statue + skyline-image, but here's one at a distance:

Dear wikipedians,
There used to be a curved metal plaque on an observation deck looking
out at the Boston skyline, matching the skyline and labelling it with
a little key -- facing out over the water from the North. I think it
was from a pier or park there, not too far from the airport. Can
someone help me find a photo of this, or remind me what park/pier it
is on?
Thanks!

Thanks. I'll send a note to that list. I'd certainly appreciate it if you
shared this with WMF researchers - I would value their feedback.

Hi all,
Over the past few months I've been doing some research on how Wikipedia
uses the news media. Specifically, I've compiled a dataset of about 250
news websites and the number of times Wikipedia links to each of them. I've
chatted with a few of you about this work and I wanted to share my
preliminary findings with you all to get your thoughts and feedback
Here is my (very preliminary) writeup:

I'm still working on this, but I would greatly appreciate any thoughts that
you might have on either the methodology or the results before I present it
to the Wikipedia community at large.
Best wishes,
Gabe
Hello Fellow Wikimedians,
After a talk with Pharos last night, we decided that we should hold a meeting soon to figure out to plan for the future of Wikimedia New England. I have created a Doodle poll (http://www.doodle.com/9is5qfay7b6ywpyb) so that we can pick out a day to do this before the summer ends, and I’ll end the poll in a week so that we can quickly nail down a date and find a place to make this happen. Anyways, I hope that you all are enjoying this wonderful New England day, and I will e-mail you all in a week once we pick out a date.
Kevin Rutherford
Before I forget, Pete and Adam, I loaded in the 10 AM-12 PM timeslot after you both took the poll, so you guys are more than welcome to update it accordingly.

Hey all,
Just a reminder, but I’m going to close the poll at midnight tonight. Again, here is the link: http://www.doodle.com/9is5qfay7b6ywpyb Have a great afternoon!

Aha! One of the pillars of the Cambridge Peace Commission, Brian
Corr, is an early Wikipedians, which seems fortuitous for your
project.
You might come to one of our upcoming meetups to recruit interest; or
post the idea to our mailing list: which I copy here. Brian, what do
you think of this idea?
Warm regards,
Sam.
