Dear Bostonians,
Would people be interested in hanging out on Sunday? Phoebe Ayers is
visiting town for a few days, and we're planning to have a small
meetup this Sunday at the Friendly Toast.[1] (btw - we talked about
meeting near BU next month - suggestions for a location are welcome!)
Cheers,
SJ

Hi Boston-area Wikimedians!
Sorry for the short notice, but I will be visiting your fair city this long
weekend, and if anyone wanted to have an impromptu informal wiki meetup on
Sunday evening, I'd love to see you all. If there's interest, please suggest
good places to meet up.

Hi there
We all understand that we have a moral obligation to protect and
preserve our planet for future generations,So we ask you to please
help us donate 1000 trees to the Carbon free campaign- which plants
trees to fight global warming and all you have to do is visit
http://businessday411.blogspot.com and click on the first ad on right
of our blog.
THANK YOU
We will have a Boston contingent. It would be good lay plans and
coordinate travel and, if appropriate, posters.
There's talk of a Wiki Train -- reserving a whole Acela car for us and
the NYC contingent, which the Wikimania organizers would partly
subsidize.
So, roll call: are you planning on attending? Would you be interested
in taking the train?
(yes and YES!) -SJ.

The meetup.com page says May 9, but I think we'd settled on Sunday
rather than Monday. It's a bit late, but I have updated the page on-wiki
with May 8 instead. In the future I think it would be a good idea to try
to find somewhere closer to central Boston, but we're probably stuck
with the same venue for this upcoming meeting. This meetup would
probably be a good time to make plans for
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wiknic>, too.
