Ah ok. If you talked to Denny about this and the decision is to use arbitrary items then that is fine. Please continue with that then. It just wasn't recorded in the bug report which is why I asked.
As far as I recall, the only question that was left was whether we want to be able to restrict the set of items that can be used as tags uzsing a setting, like we currently do for calendards and globes. For I think it's fine for now to assume the answer is "no".
