Hi!
We are planning to change the prefix and associated URIs in RDF
representation for Wikidata from:
PREFIX wikibase: <http://wikiba.se/ontology-beta#>
to:
PREFIX wikibase: <http://wikiba.se/ontology#>
If you are using Wikidata Query Service, you do not have to do anything,
as WDQS already is using the new definition.
However, if you consume RDF exports from Wikidata or RDF dumps directly,
you will need to change your clients to expect the new URI scheme for
Wikibase ontology.
Also, if you're using Wikibase extension in your project, please be
aware that the RDF URIs generated by it will use this prefix after the
change. This is defined in repo/includes/Rdf/RdfVocabulary.php around
line 175:
self::NS_ONTOLOGY => self::ONTOLOGY_BASE_URI . "#",
The new data will have schema:softwareVersion "1.0.0" triple on the
dataset node[1], which will allow your software to distinguish the new
data format from the old one.
The task tracking the change is
https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T112127. I will make another
announcement when the change is merged and deployed and the data
produced by Wikidata is going to change.
Please contact me (or comment in the task) if you have any questions or
concerns.

but what the bot did not due was reverse what editors had done
in the past.

Hi,
I have finally got around to starting to decommission dbpedialite.org
Pages now redirect to Wikidata entity URIs.
I won't be renewing the domain name when it expires 2019-05-09.

Subject: Re: [Wikidata] Wiki PageID
Hi,
A number of years ago I was having some very
frustrating times with the identifier instability in dbpedia. Two people looking
up an identifier for the same concept at different times ended up with different
identifiers.
So I created a proof of concept, dbpedialite, which uses
Wikipedia PageIDs:
http://www.dbpedialite.org/things/87851
(At
the time there was a page title edit war between Stoat and
Ermine)
But now we have Wikidata – which solves this problem much
better – so I should really get on and decommission dbpedialite.
What are
you using Wikipedia Page IDs for? Might it be better to store the Wikidata
ID and then lookup the Wikipedia page on
demand?
nick.

All that red makes the page look bad, and i would like to point out the abuse factor here, all those red links start edit wars,
and should be put there if any by people,
The creation of the wikidata page also creats a problem, because it does not establis a lable which should be mandatory
and in english,
in the save proses.
and this problem * https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:WikiProject_Labels_and_descriptions#…

>I want to draw your attention to the problem from the other side. On the newly created page, which can be opened by the red link, there is no binding to the Wikidata. This means that after the creation, the page will not automatically be linked to the Wikidata. And if the project has templates that can use information from the Wikidata, they will not fully work until the page will be saved at least once and linked to an item. I already suggested to add the parameter for this: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T178249
>
>If something like this will be implemented, then it will be possible to make a template for the red links (with Lua and TemplateStyles) that will be connected to the Wikidata. Although I agree that it is better to have a syntax that will allow to make links without such difficulties.
