Great. Yes, we can use those; let's get Fr and Pt done then.
Fr done.

Ok everyone, I'm now just out of my depth - my head is wrecked. It comes down to displaying non-English characters in html - I can't do it. I've copied and pasted the text from the translation requests page http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Translation_requests/WQ/2/Release_message - I've tried the text from the displayed page, the edit mode text and the html code (from "view source") and nothing works in dreamweaver. The best I can get is for the text to work in dreamweaver but not to preview in browser, ie. accents convert into %@9(^ or something similar, and the entire Japanese text goes to question marks. Does anyone know how to simply copy text as it appears on wikipedia (or its source code) and view it in a browser? Just to remind everyone that the provisional html code for this proposed email is on http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Talk:WQ and the text of the translation is on: http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Translation_requests/WQ/2/Release_message
Thanks Nicolas for your translation, and now User:Leoadec has translated Portuguese - text is all there, and now just needs to be designed in html. I'm very busy at the moment so if anyone has the chance to look at this I would be so grateful. Thanks Cormac

Hi, I've changed the Spanish version of the message at http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Translation_requests/WQ/2/Release_message Using html encoding instead of explicit accents. If this one works for you now I could change all of the other messages.
Please let me know if this change solves the problem you've found.

Can you try it for Japanese?
That looks like the right solution, Ascander. I don't have Dreamweaver, so I can't verify that this fixes Cormac's problem, but can you try it in Japanese?
