The Bugzilla status VERIFIED can be used when QA / shareholders review bug that have been fixed over a period of time. I think the Wikidata is using it, developers mark bugs FIXED then QA / product manager review them once per week and mark them verified.

Think about it as a second level of verification to control whether the developers probably handled the issue.

I am not sure how useful it would be for pywikibot though.
