Hi All,
I'm pleased to announce that the Paris Court of Appeals has ruled in favor of the Wikimedia Foundation in the ongoing *Teissier v. WMF* case, finding WMF to be a hosting provider under French law. The court stated that Ms. Teissier may dislike the content included in the French Wikipedia article about her, but that the content was well within the bounds of free speech. This outcome is a victory for the Wikimedia projects and for free expression and knowledge.
