As many of you will know, the EU consultation on Freedom of Panorama and new neighboring rights for publishers https://ec.europa.eu/digital-single-market/en/news/public-consultation-role-publishers-copyright-value-chain-and-panorama-exception is closing on 6/15.

The legal team at WMF is currently preparing a response to the consultation in order to encourage the European Commission to introduce a strong FoP exception and harmonize European copyright accordingly. We are planning to submit tomorrow (6/14). At the same time, we would like to draw your attention to the community response that FKAGEU is drafting here https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/EU_policy/FoP_Consultation.
