Please, allow me to clarify that SLAPP is an acronym that stands for Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strategic_lawsuit_against_public_participation .
These are lawsuits that are brought against not with the aim of asserting a legitimate claim, but rather to intimidate and censor critics.
Unfortunately, Wikipedians are more and more often victims of SLAPPs. We are therefore focusing our advocacy efforts to tackle this worrisome phenomenon.

CASE just announced the launch of its latest resource: the Anti-SLAPP Guidebook. This comprehensive guide is designed to empower public watchdogs and advocates to protect themselves from abusive lawsuits and legal threats, effectively position their defenses, and know where to seek help if faced with legal challenges.
