Как некоторые из вас, наверное, слышали, Фонд Викимедиа ещё с лета разрабатывает Универсальный Кодекс Поведения, нечто вроде общего правила для всех проектов Викимедиа и вообще любой деятельности под эгидой Фонда, Движения или аффилированных организаций (это мы с вами). 2 февраля Совет Попечителей Фонда утвердил текст этого кодекса и теперь он вынесен на обсуждение сообществами. Оставляя в стороне вопрос необходимости такого правила, я хотел бы сподвигнуть вас прочесть его по ссылке , причём крайне желательно прочесть его в оригинале, на английском языке, поскольку я и Iniquity уже неделю бьёмся над корректным переводом на русский язык и пока не добились успеха.
Собственно, как прочитаете, выскажитесь насколько, на ваш взгляд, этот текст подходит для принятия как правило. Укажите на замеченные недостатки, возможности для злоупотребления или, наоборот, не закрытые этим правилом случаи. Высказываться можно прямо здесь, в ответе на рассылку. В дальнейшем я соберу эти отзывы и направлю их наверх, в Фонд, буду надеяться, они нас услышат.

As you know, the WMF Board of Trustees ratified the Universal Code of
Conduct early in February. That's the beginning; the policy itself cannot
be used if the enforcement pathways are not defined. The implementation and
enforcement of the UCoC requires the continuous cooperation to define clear
definitions of enforcement pathways and processes. This needs to be done in
a way that does not contradict with the internal bylaws and codes of
conduct currently in place, but rather to support them and complement their
deficiencies, if any.
