For those of you eager to know whats coming next in the beta .. we've created a simple status page to keep track of everything thats moving in and out of the beta

Let us know how it works.

Hi! Probably a stupid question, but: do I need to re-sign up for beta? It isn't coming up anymore on my phone, and if I click the link that the below page refers to ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/?mobileaction=opt_in_mobile_site) it just takes me to the en.wikipedia.org homepage (non-mobile version).
Thanks! Would love to test out the new features! Jessie

Can you try to go to, "http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/?mobileaction=opt_in_mobile_site" on your mobile device?

I'd guess you've accidentally hit the "permanently disable mobile view" link at some point... you'll need to remove that cookie, or it never really goes back properly. :(

It ended up working with the new link Tomasz sent out last night[1] versus the one I put above...For whatever reason the one that the meta page was linking to wasn't working correctly! Thanks for the help!

Jessie,
In this last release (full-screen search) a new opt-in was required to see the beta.
The original bit.ly URL to opt-in has changed, and for some reason reverts to the Wikipedia home page.
The new easy URL to opt-in is:
We are considering a button to opt-in from the production mobile site.

Yeah, we really need to get a better optin link right in the mobile interface. It's becoming silly to have to give people bit.ly links when their already on a mobile wikipedia page.
