Sumanah poked me in IRC today to ask when we are scheduling time to give KnockOff / TAssembly a spin in MobileFrontend.
Gabriel Wicke is looking for feedback...
Jon, what's the plan for giving KnockOff/TAssembly a spin? How much time/focus will it require and how many people will need to be involved?

I'm not sure. I guess it would be a 4 hour spike integrating it with MobileFrontend on one of our more complex templates. I suspect this will involve updating the templating code / adding a new template compiler and checking things like increased JavaScript payload / performance.
Output would be feedback on things we like and dislike about it.

OK cool, Jon will you add a spike card to the Q4 backlog? We can discuss tomorrow if we have capacity to slot this for the next iteration (kicking off Monday).

Cool, looking forward to your feedback!
The JS implementation is here:
* Compiler: https://github.com/gwicke/knockoff * Runtime: https://github.com/gwicke/tassembly
I'll spiff up the knockoff docs a bit & try to create a minimized client-side tassembly build before next week.

I don't have the rights to see that one, but I guess it's not that critical?

Weird, it should be publicly viewable.
Jon, I moved that card (and the other one you added to that board) into our Q4 backlog so we can discuss during our planning meeting today whether or not we should work on those during the next sprint.
Gabriel, I tested viewing the cards in a private browsing session and it is now visible.

Now I can see it, thanks!
