Hello,
As you can see from the headers below, 3 members from the French Arbcom, including an administrator of the list, have been removed automatically from the list. This seems to be due to the fact their email account is at Yahoo. We never had the problem before. What do you advise us to do ? Thanks in advance, Racconish

I can imagine more Yahoo users experiencing trouble. Yahoo has the nasty tendency to mark its emails to a mailing list as 'spam'. This is a problem that has been around for two years, and it's surprising Yahoo still hasn't worked on solving it: http://www.pcworld.com/article/2141120/yahoo-email-antispoofing-policy-break...
Most likely, also the other list members (if they use providers like gmail) will experience that these emails from those Yahoo senders will end up in their spamfilter. This way, even Jimmy Wales ends up in our spamfilters when he emails wikimedia-l.
Not sure if there is a solution, and what it would be.
Good luck, Lodewijk

If those assumptions are correct (which is likely): Technical details: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T134886#2291395 Potential technical approaches: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T137603%C2%A0 https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T137614

They should use another email provider.
I'm sorry for having to provide this "solution", I would normally let people use whatever system they prefer, but in this case, it's "too broken". Their email provider (Yahoo!) states that their users won't send emails other than directly (which includes that they won't use mailing lists). Given that these customers *do* want such uses, either they get their provider to change their ways, or change providers.
The other email providers are simply following Yahoo instructions when rejecting the emails from yahoo users. Gmail is slightly nicer to them by "only" sending it to the spam folder (which can be avoided with a filter), but it still means that most recipients won't receive it.
Regards
PS: AOL mail has exactly the same misconfiguration.
