sorry to hear about your frustration. i suggest opening a task in phabricator for the multimedia & operations team. i know that they had to tweak the job runner a lot because of issues with large tiff files, but i'm not sure if those adjustments were ever removed or if the large tiff issue was ever resolved. in any case, those adjustments affected all batch jobs as far as i know. hopefully someone on one of those teams can look into the issue in more detail and sort out the issue.

create a phabricator task:

1. https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Phabricator#Get_started 2. once logged into phabricator you should be able to use this URL to create the task: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/maniphest/task/create/?projects=multimedia... 3. add as much detail as you can to the description field.
