Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has ever used the ComeOn! upload tool to batch-upload images to Commons? It does not have a separate page on Commons but the page on GitHub is https://github.com/edouardhue/comeon and it seems quite useful for smaller uploads.

The README doesn't explain what is its benefit compared to the others. «ComeOn! has the ability to load external metadata from a CSV file» seems to be its distinctive feature, am I correct? The README also doesn't state whether it works with OpenJDK.

Yes, as I understand it the ability to read from a CSV file is what separates it from, say, Commonist. The tool also allows you to use different templates (Artwork, Information), with a little bit of tweaking.
I was experimenting a bit and was able to read from metadata in the images, but I was not yet able to link to a CSV file, and the documentation on GitHub is exactly missing that part.

Thanks. Please create a page on Commons to describe this step, once you find out. :-)
