Hiya! Just introducing myself to the list as I suspect I’ll have lots of questions for you
over the course of trying to learn the GWToolset! Ally Crockford, James Heald and Jonathan
Cardy were very helpful last week in getting us up to speed over at British Library.
I’m currently working on getting this collection up so you may see lots of tests on the
Beta Site around that
http://www.jacar.go.jp/english/jacarbl-fsjwar-e/gallery/index.html.
I’ve just about got my xml file crafted but want to add in the right language templates
and am having a bit of trouble finding the right ones. Please see the metadata attached.
Images created in Japan
English (en)
Japanese (ja)
Romanised Japanese (?)
Images created in China
Chinese (?)
English (en)
Romanised Chinese, Specifically Pinyin (?)
Japanised (
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanization)/ Translation of the Chinese into
Japanese (?) I thought I could use ja for this though the curator pointed out that
strictly speaking it’s not Japanese…? Seeking further clarification from them but thought
I’d throw it in there in the meantime!
