Dear Venus, Welcome to the Collab! I'm so happy that you're part of this group, and I look forward to working with you. I'd like to set up some time to talk with you so that I can give you an introduction of what the Collab is. I've moved the Collab group to bcc so they don't need to be part of the logistics of setting this up - you can reply directly to me. Could you indicate some days / times that work well for you? I'm in San Francisco so that may make it a bit challenging, timezone-wise, but I'm sure we can find a time that works well for both of us. Talk to you soon. :)

Dear Collab members,
We are happy to announce a new member joining the Wikipedia Education Collaborative this week. Please join me in welcoming Venus Lui from Hong Kong.
A little snippet about Venus in her own words:
I'm from Wikimedia Hong Kong, the Project Coordinator of the Wikipedia Education Program, since 2014. I'm interested in the Education Program related to literature and linguistics, as the articles related to literature and linguistics on Wikipedia are not as numerous as other topics. I have just finished the very first Wikipedia Education Program in Hong Kong and we have collected 17 new entries in the pilot program. I am planning to start the second Education Program in the coming January. I am also interested in GLAM-Wiki, and I was one of the Program Committee of GLAM-Wiki 2015. Currently, I am working on both Wikipedia Education Program and GLAM-Wiki Project in Hong Kong.
Venus has also written a newsletter post about the Education Program kick off in Hong Kong, see it here https://outreach.wikimedia.org/wiki/Education/Newsletter/June_2015/The_First_Wikipedia_Education_Program_in_Hong_Kong. Beside her other contributions to the Wikimedia movement. I'm sure she will be a great addition to the group.
Venus, we are so happy to have you as part of the Collaborative. Thank you for being part of this group and for putting your great experience to work to help others around the world in their education efforts.
Please join me in welcoming Venus.
