Dear Collab members,
These days at the Wikimedia Foundation, we are wrapping up the quarter and
we will be working on updating and documenting the information about it for
the Quarterly Reviews

In order to help us have the most up-to-date information about your Collab
achievements, would you please *update your tasks on Phabricator*
<https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/project/sprint/board/1479/query/all/> and
make sure they reflect the most recent developments you are making? Please
make sure to get your tasks updated by the end of the day on December 31st.

Hi all,
We managed to reach out to several institutions in Mykolaiv Oblast (region)
in Ukraine, university as well as authorities, so there is a hope for
fruitful WEP (and GLAM) collaboration there. But it's only starting.
My colleagues asked me to write a draft post for Wikimedia Blog so here it
is
https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Blog/Drafts/Expansion_of_Wikipedi…
I would appreciate your feedback or any reflections on text, regarding its
language as well as its contents and the ideas themselves.
Thank you,

Dear Collab members,
I wanted to let you know that we will be using Sheraton Hotel Stockholm
<http://www.sheratonstockholm.com/> for our stay during the next Collab
in-person meeting taking place in Stockholm early March. Our travel team
has reserved a hotel block of rooms for the group that will be attending.
There is no separate reservation for every traveler, but if you need a
proof of hotel booking for your visa application, please send an email to
travelmanager(a)wikimedia.org.
I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
All the best,

Dear all,
I am planning to make a leaflet about how to use Wikipedia with correct
attitude, what I mean here is to tell the students that Wikipedia is not
only an online encyclopedia for them to get the information they need, but
also they can share their knowledge on Wikipedia. At the same time,
students should not plagiarize by using Wikipedia.
The reason I want to work on the leaflet is that there was a scandal in
Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination 2013 where some
students were caught with plagiarism. They copied the information from the
website directly, thus disqualified. I think it is important for us to tell
the students how to use Wikipedia with a positive attitude. Do you think
this idea is possible? Please share your idea/opinion with me. Thank you
very much. :)
Best Regards,
Venus
