Dear Collab members, This is our update of news and changes related to the Wikipedia Education Collaborative. Since our last update, the following has happened: Tasks Tasking activity included: 8 new tasks were created. 8 tasks were claimed by members. 9 tasks were completed. New branch of WEP in Ukraine — how does it look like for you?

Hi all, We managed to reach out to several institutions in Mykolaiv Oblast (region) in Ukraine, university as well as authorities, so there is a hope for fruitful WEP (and GLAM) collaboration there. But it's only starting. Hotel booking for the Collab in-person meeting in Stockholm

Do you think we should tell the students to use Wikipedia with the correct attitude?

Dear all, I am planning to make a leaflet about how to use Wikipedia with correct attitude, what I mean here is to tell the students that Wikipedia is not only an online encyclopedia for them to get the information they need, but also they can share their knowledge on Wikipedia. At the same time, students should not plagiarize by using Wikipedia. The reason I want to work on the leaflet is that there was a scandal in Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination 2013 where some students were caught with plagiarism. They copied the information from the website directly, thus disqualified. I think it is important for us to tell the students how to use Wikipedia with a positive attitude.
