Sorry guys for my late replies. This is because my digests option was
on so I received the emails in bundles abit later, but I have changed
that. I successifully downloaded the full SCHOOLS OFFLINE WIKIPEDIA,
EDITION 2008/9 in .tar archive. The .tar is 2.9GB big and when
decompressed it is 3.44GB. This can be easily burnt into a disk or
carried in a USB flash for distribution since it is a bit big for HTTP
distribution. It works perfectly fine with windows, all you need is a
decompressor, probably Winzip or Winrar and a web browser. Once you
decompress the file into a folder, all that one needs to open is the
"index.htm" file with a web browser and start navigating. My opinion
is that this can be a very suitable vesrion to use besides the kiwix
version. I will be waiting to hear from you guys.
Regards;
