Hi folks,
Just a reminder that we'll be having a meetup tomorrow at iHub starting at 10am. A
lawyer from Mohammed & Lethome Advocates would be present to explain and answer any
questions that we may have from 10-10.30am, so please be there on time if you are
interested in getting some legal perspective of the registration process.
I have just received an email from a Mr. John Wambugu who works at TSLG Africa. TSLG is
currently involved in the supply and installation of multimedia laboratories to the
Ministry of Education, Kenya. This project aims to equip 240 secondary schools and teacher
training colleges with Education and Training solutions that provides a combination of
Centralized, online (classroom) and decentralized offline (e-learning) multimedia
solutions. Other solutions provided include Content Development System which enables
teachers\tutors\lecturers to author own content including creation of exercises and
content sharing.
TSLG is looking forward to partner with us, and will therefore be present at
tomorrow's meetup so that we could brainstorm and discuss possible ways of
collaboration. The TSLG officials will be at iHub at 10.30am -- probably after we are done
discussing the bylaws. I am aware that this new development has arisen in such short
notice, but that's because TSLG has sent me intel regarding their attendance very
recently. My apologies for that.
Other matters to be discussed at tomorrow's meetup are included in the Google Doc that
was shared some time back.
See you tomorrow:-)
SincerelyAbbas.
