Yah, I thought about that too. Infact, I had a brief chat with Isaac regarding it earlier today.
I was under the impression that Egerton's a bit far. Remember the last time we did a talk there, it took us the entire day. Though I must say, I love Egerton's enthusiasim towards open source stuff and it would be great to lay a foundation for future Wikimedia activities in Nakuru. If guys plus Asaf ofcourse are willing to go here it would be awesome. So what about it guys?

Hey Abbas,
I've already got intouch with someone from UoN and I'm waiting for an official confirmation from them.
I've also forwarded the letter from Wikimedia to help things move on faster.
Cheers,
Alex.

A planning wiki for this would be awesome. If it's cool with everyone we can kick start this during tomorrow's WikiSaturday.
As for the other campuses, Strathmore and probably Nairobi uni should be available.

This, of course, doesn't mean that such a person is not allowed to attend meetings, etc but what he can not do is vote. I also suggest that members should also be given priority over non-members when it comes to participating in projects. Greetings,
Has anyone of you guys heard of Khan Academy(www.khanacademy.org)? Khan Academy is a multiple-award winning non-profit organization/website that has free collections of educational videos ranging from Math, Calculus, Algebra, Chemistry, Physics, Statistics and man more.
I was thinking of carrying out an offline project with Khan where we'd download and distribute these videos to educational institutions probably during September. If you guys are interested, I'll arrange a meetup where we could discuss the way forward.
Cheers,Abbas.
Hey Abbas,
The guys who you listed their are the ones eligible to register for the pre
- conference sessions or is it open?
