Hi all
Several days ago we uploaded to Wikimedia Commons the first donation of
images by participating museums in GLAMing Madrid project. In total 197
images from National Archaeological Museum (
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Files_provided_by_Museo_Arqueol…),
58 images from Museo del Traje (
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Files_provided_by_Museo_del_Tra…)
and 122 images from Museum of Romanticism (
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Files_provided_by_Museo_del_Rom…).
Many of them are already being used to illustrate Wikipedia articles in
several languages, and categories have been added to baGLAMa tool to
evaluate their impact. I encourage you to disseminate and make use of them
:)
We must also mention classical music recordings made at the Museum of
Romanticism. 45 files in total, 3 of them videos, from three different
musicians (

). The success of the initiative has encouraged us to continue with it and,
for example, in January we will record two more concerts.
