Can we have write-in candidates?
Cheers,

Is it me, or are we short on candidates?
What do the by-laws say when (as now) there are fewer candidates
than positions? I count six candidates for a seven-member board.
Our bylaws don't make any special provisions for such a scenario.
Assuming that, as a result of the election, one seat remains vacant
-- and, at the moment, I don't see any way to avoid this -- the
Board can subsequently appoint someone to fill the vacant seat under
a provision of the DC Code (§ 29-406.10).
