Heya all, I was searching the Android Market, when I stumbled upon this app:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.practicalapps.android.wallpaper.wi... It's called Picture of the Day Wallpaper
[snip]
*All images are credited to NASA (NASA.gov)* That last line worries me a bit. Are all photos credited to NASA, irrespective of who uploaded it? OR Are all photos of the Day by NASA, thereby giving others no chance for a front page visit?
No, that is not the case of Wikimedia Commons featured pictures.
You may wish to contact the author of that wallpaper to let them know.. It looks like they mixed up part of the descriptions between this and their "NASA Scrolling Images" wallpaper:

"Image credit on the Picture of the Day webpage. Image updates are subject to the availability of the Wikimedia Commons' Image of the Day RSS feed and associated images." -- brion
cool - thanks for looking into that. A member from the Indian community found this, but I just went ahead and emailed the address on the developer page - so hopefully it gets switched up soon!
Also just wanted all you mobile lovers to be aware of the app (in case you aren't)!
