No, the translation is correct. Wikipedia is "free as in freedom" as
well as being free of charge. All of the content is released under the
GFDL, which is a free content licence, giving users the freedom to
reuse it, modify it and distribute it. Where a language doesn't have a
word which conveys both meanings, the free (libre) aspect is more
important than the free (gratis) aspect. The article on free content
in the English Wikipedia gives more detail on this
