The recent stream of e-mails was me clearing up the moderation queue. No one was actively looking at the queue, so there were hundreds of messages blocked there from months ago.

The queue is now empty and I've added myself to the notification list, so the moderation should happen more quickly now. If anyone's interested in helping with moderation, please let me know offlist.
