Hi,
The report covering Wikimedia engineering activities in December 2014 is
now available:
https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Engineering/Report/2014/December
Also, note that the format of the report is changing. Consistently
with the WMF-wide switch to quarterly reviews announced a few months
ago ( https://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/wikimediaannounce-l/2014-November/001…
), Engineering and Product staff will now be reporting on a quarterly
basis.
To get more frequent updates, you can follow ongoing work by watching
the master roadmap in Phabricator, where all major work is organized:
https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/tag/roadmap/
(To watch or subscribe, see
https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/project/profile/1109/ )
The roadmap links to specific tasks and projects that you can also
subscribe to in Phabricator if you don't want to watch the whole
roadmap. Anyone should feel free to request an update about a task by
adding a comment there.
Remember that you are also encouraged to subscribe to the weekly
technical newsletter, to get a high-level summary of technical changes
that may impact your experience:
https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Tech/News
I hope that this new process will allow you to follow engineering and
product work more closely and in more timely manner. Let me know if
you have any questions.

Hi,
I just created bug https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T93557 Mainpage getting wrongly directed to blank pages at three Marathi language wiki projects mr-wikisource, mr-wikibooks, mr-wikiquote .
I hope and request some one listening from this list. please help these mr projects visitors to reach respective main pages at the earliest.
Regards
Mahitgar

Quoting from the discussion: «As of today, there is broad consensus in
support of the proposal, as discussed by an ample spectrum of users
active in multiple wikis. Several users stressed that: talk page access
is crucial, to ensure communication with mobile users; errors of the
past, like the mobile uploads campaign, must not be repeated; local and
global effects in terms of (un)productive contributions will be under
constant monitoring and re-evaluation per the usual processes.»

Hello Wikitech ambassadors,
We’d love to hear what you think of the Wikimedia Blog, so we can improve it to better serve you and our movement.
Could you please take this short survey, if you haven’t already?
https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/wikimedia-blog?c=email-amb
The survey ends tomorrow. Your feedback will help improve the blog — and inform our editorial strategy for WMF communications.
We would also be grateful if you would invite others in your community to take the survey, so we get more responses from across our movement.
We will post survey results at the end of March, both on the blog and on Meta.
Thanks for sharing your feedback!
Fabrice
P.S.: If you are not familiar with the blog, we invite you to visit it before you take the survey:
