There is now a Chrome extension called Citation Needed https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Future_Audiences/Experiment:Citation_Needed which you can use to see if an online statement is supported by a Wikipedia article. This is a small experiment to see if Wikipedia can be used this way.
