Thank you for this bump Alastair :-)
Hope you do not mind me adapting the subject...

Cargo seems promising as a lightweight data storage

I think this Wikispore discussion died out without follow-up on technical
aspects if it is Cargo, Page Forms or something else to enable this, while
in reality... I feel we should be truly experimental and secure resources
to run maybe even two instances of Wikispore so we can test more then one
option at the time.
I notice Z's question at [
https://wikispore.wmflabs.org/wiki/Talk:Cargo]
about the desirability of a beginner's tutorial on
using Cargo: that
doesn't appear to have been answered?
Indeed - it seems like there are very few people checking out talk pages as
many conversations stalled in 2001 or even earlier...maybe we can agree
that we need to change our way of working and use the rest of 2022 to test
a few options. I hope one of these could be to have a person that could do
community support at least a day a week before the end of 2022. This could
fit 5k requests.
If there was such a tutorial, what I would really like
to see is an
example of moving from data table query to rendering it - as Peter says
above "on maps and/or timelines and/or network graphs". If that is
feasible/easy, that would be a strong foundation for showing these new
forms of knowledge.
I could imagine doing this as a zoom session and editing it down to be even
nicer to watch later with amended info and links...
@Richard Knipel <pharosofalexandria(a)gmail.com> Can you secure a
WikipediaWeekly early November slot?
Who could deliver this technical demo as a part of upcoming 2022
activities?
