Hello I try to upload a cohort to Wikimetrics for the first time but Validation: FAILURE appears. I think the reason are usernames written in Armenian characters. I tried both csv and txt formats but the same error. I deleted the Armenian usernames from the list and no problem was detected, I could upload the cohort. Please help.
Thank you Best regards

Hi Lilit,
There is a known issue going on right now with cohort validation. We are actively working to fix it. The issue is tracked here:
https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=63836
we will mark it as resolved when the fix is in place. When we do so, please test again and let us know if you are still having trouble. Thanks for the bug report.

Hi Lilit,
I wonder if it's related to the bug that was submitted last Fridahttps://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=63836y. Other users have been having trouble as well. From my experience, I have usernames in Latin and Arabic script which have both worked fine in the past. Even if there is an error in the usernames, it should validate and then report which usernames are valid and which ones are invalid (allowing you to trouble shoot and check for typos, trailing spaces or unnecessary underscores).
I know our colleagues in the Czech Republic were having trouble with usernames with complex characters with diacritics at first, but it turned out to be a character set adjustment. The quick solution for them was using a Google spreadsheet for the CSV. This is something you can investigate once your cohort validates and you know which usernames the tool accepted or rejected as invalid.
Dan beat me to the bug reply just now :)
Cheers, Tighe

Lilit, Would you be so kind as to try to upload your cohort again? We have deployed a fix to production that should solve issues with both uploading cohorts and validating users.
We believe this might have been broken after a recent upgrade we did to one of our database drivers. We have tested with various cohorts for quite some time but we await your confirmation that the issue is fixed for you before calling the fix good.
