Hamjambo,

Hi, that is a great observation you made there and I would strongly recommend we treat this matter with great caution not to burn any bridges. The e-mail address thing is is also brilliant so as to show the/ identify us with WMKE. I support the idea of us doing our projects "alone" as suggested but lets maintain the rapport we have for future collaboration purposes. Regards
Hi,
(Firstly, as my first post to the list, I should identify myself. I'm from Perth, Australia, and have just completed two years on the Wikimedia Australia board. I met a couple of the Kenyan delegates at both the Berlin chapters' conference and at Wikimania in Haifa, and I have always found the level of energy, enthusiasm and grassroots involvement in the Kenyan group very inspirational - you guys totally deserve to succeed, and I'm happy to help in whatever way I can.)
To the subject matter - we in WMAu have the same problem. I tried using my Wikimedia email address and contacting agencies using a fax number rather than by email, and found the latter actually got a reasonable result. I don't know what the situation is in Kenya is but it's relatively easy to get an Internet fax number here. (A quick google search turned up easyfax.co.ke, but their website does not make clear what their costs are.)
kindest regards Andrew

First, iam impressed by Steve's mastery of kiswahili, very impressive. The issue at hand involves both sponsorship and participation. If the listed organizations do not desire to support us financially whereas we have viable projects, then the best idea is of course to work on them alone and arouse their attention upon successful completion. However som institutions eg ICT board are crucial in implementation therefore i vouch that we involve them as we may never know their value in the end. Kind Regards Kosgei K Gerrard
