Meeting next week with Pacita + potential Grolier Club this Friday

Following the discussions, I've asked Pacita if she could meet for a brief social occasion on Tues or Thurs evening of next week with board members. I also asked her to meet with me Monday April 1 during the day to get started with onboarding. Also, we're doing a mini wiki tour of the Grolier club this week Fri at 11am, if anyone wants to join that, not sure if it's too early to invite Pacita. Thanks, Richard (User:Pharos)

WikiNYC: Thu 3/14 Hacking Night + Sat 3/16 Queens Name Explorer

You are invited to join the Wikimedia NYC community for two events this week: Thu 3/14 - Pi Day Hacking Night at Prime Produce in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan. It is intended primarily for technical contributors, though newcomers are welcome as well, and pies will be served in celebration of Pi Day! (7pm-10pm) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Meetup/NYC/Pi_Day_Hacking_Night Sat 3/16 - Queens Name Explorer edit-a-thon at the Queens Public Library Tech Lab in Long Island City, which will be hosted in collaboration with OpenStreetMap US, Urban Archive and the Queens Memory Project. This is an opportunity for the tech savvy to learn about Queens history and for the history savvy to hone their open data skills – plus, there will be refreshments and prizes for everyone! You are invited to join the Wikimedia NYC community and visitors from the global Wikimedia Foundation for our Wiki Gala at Prime Produce in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan.
